This was filmed on the band’s Winter 1977 world tour. This is part of a longer Dutch concert. This song is probably my favorite James Pankow tune. It features Peter Cetera on vocals and the legend, Terry Kath on guitar. Enjoy!

@carina2244-look right before 1:00; he thinks he may a fluffed a line and I think he was kidding around w/ Terry , ‘ there’s a strange new light in my eyes,’ as if he were caught! Great song, Great tour! GREAT BAND !

@carina2244 From 1-1:11 he sings “there’s a strange new light in my eyes” that’s why he opens his eyes wide and looks at them, i guess jokin around.

This is exactly why I loved seeing them live! Peter is smoking hot, Ouch! Terry’s amazing. Jimmy/Lee/Walt are right on. Danny’s playing his heart out on the drums, Bobby’s doing his thing. The song ends in a thunderous crescendo and all is right with the world.
From 1:00 – 1:11 looks like Peter’s looking at Terry or Bobby (because he messed up?) I don’t know but if he did, it still sounded great! He was and is a great musician and great live performer. He has charisma AND talent. Lucky us!

February 28th, 2010 at 1:58 am
I took for granted they were in the Rock Hall of Fame! If Chicago can’t get in what’s the use of having a Rock Hall of Fame?
February 28th, 2010 at 2:07 am
I saw these guys in concert a few years back. Just isn’t the same without Peter Cetera on the vocals. Wish they could work something out. sigh….Chicago has got to be my all time favorite band.
February 28th, 2010 at 2:54 am

February 28th, 2010 at 3:33 am
What a disgrace that the shameful Rock and Roll hall of Shame dont even have these guys in considered for induction !.. But they rather be politically correct in put talentless idiots in the likes of Rum DMC,GRANDMASTER FLASH AND FURIOUS FIVE and the slut Modanna! Hey RRHOF go fuck yourself!

@cryosurgeon I was at that same concert in Charlevoix, my mom’s hometown. It was my first rock concert ever. I was 13, and rode my bike to the Castle. I really enjoyed the show, but at 13, I had no idea how important Terry Kath was. At least I can say I saw him…
