      @helioseismology
AFTER Terry Kath accidentally shot himself, and subsequently died as a result of an accidental, self-inflicted gunshot wound on JAN. 23, 1978. Anyway, in my opinion, you are correct,. After the Original members started to leave the group, things just were not the same, as when the group formed… R I P Terry A. Kath…

Finally, someone who knows real music. Thank you. Listen to Peter Cetera sing while still playing a hard bass part. Someone please tell Jeff S. this is real music. Not that rap crap that belongs in the toilet with all the other crap.

How would YOU know, you were a mess
      back then.

You probably now work for government,
and probably ticket everyone who is smoking within 200 feet of a school.

You really turned into a mess!

    13. gwcobra Says:

Hate to brag but I saw Chicago Transit Authority in SF at the Fillmore. I was 14teen. Handing out acid in the stair well. Fornicating on the main floor. Yea the horns it was awsome.

i forgot where i saw this info at. but they said they first single was Chicago. i dunno. they still make some of the best music. even music today is competing with Chicago.

@binkle1 “Best damned horn playing in a rock song, hands down, ever.”

      I couldn’t agree more.

    18. binkle1 Says:

I can’t remember, but Billboard would know for sure. They had so many back-to-back hits! You’re not being a dick. ;)

    19. binkle1 Says:

YAY! I’ve been looking for the full version. Best damned horn playing in a rock song, hands down, ever. HA, I never dreamed my own daughter would pick up the trumpet all these years later! (I had her at 40).

Dialogue PT 1 & 2 — anyone please upload a quality studio version — there is a very grainy, promo video, with lousy sound quality on here BUT, we need the original

    22. papafirelin Says:

      thanks for the upload bro…great number,great band,great days…10plus

    23. pauldavisfan Says:

WSRZ played this the other day on the radio. Nice to hear some great music from Chicago

    24. cbak12sg Says:

Much of the group’s early material is so good, because of they managed to link melodies with complex melody and rhythm changes. Songs like Questions 67 and 68 and Introduction exemplify this perfectly.

    25. cbak12sg Says:

Chicago’s first hit in the UK was I’m A Man, from the first album.
