hey just a reminder to those who get a bit full of themselves. This song should put things back in perspective. You have done NOTHING on your own. Be Thankful for GOD and for those he puts in your path to help you.

I think God created music just so Mahalia could sing this song. This is the most powerful performance of all time and ain’t nobody gonna convince me otherwise.

Oh, how the world needs another singer like Mahalia Jackson today! I know Ms. Jackson was one of a kind, but she had the spirit in her and served her Lord with humbleness and great energy and strength. Today, so many Christian artists make the business of music more important than the act of inspiring people and making them feel the Spirit. Please, people, watch this servant of God and be inspired. Someone needs to set the hearts of the world on fire for the Lord again!

thank you the Roots for bringing me here

@purebrownsugar77 – Yes, she could…. It’s because she sings the Word of God in spirit and in truth…. Conviction & Encouragment goes forth with power… As a white person who has been a lover of Black Gospel Music for 20+ years; I wish that ALL (white, black, etc.) gospel artists would return to their roots and stop singing to entertain and sell… Yet, sing to bring forth God’s word — “it will not return unto Him void”…

You know Marky, every time you say “God” he must come, He promises us that and when you put dam after it, it is a major insult to Him, major. Just don’t do it anymore You’ll feel better, I promise you!
