Staying Warm in the Windy City
Robert Trujillo, joined Rodrigo y Gabriela at the Riveria on their Oct tour.
Surprise guest, Robert Trujillo of Metallica, was definitely one of the highlights of this phenomenal show. There was a little hiccup at 1:18 that provided some comedy and also allowed these professionals the opportunity to show the audience how to get back on track and finish strong. Robert Trujillo is an incredible bass player who has seamlessly fit-in with Metallica while replacing Jason Newsted and the late, great Cliff Burton.
This was filmed in Amsterdam February of 1977.
“Colour My World” was written by chicago trombone player, Jimmy Pankow. This is the original band and includes the vocals of Terry Kath. The flute solo is performed by Walt Parazaider. Robert Lamm is playing piano. Very nice.
